The Feminists are a rag tag bunch of handicapped degenerates playing punk rock out of a village in Belgium. As if each member being Handicapped
in different ways wasn't enough, the band themselves may very well be the most dysfunctional band this side of Norway's Mayhem!

The story starts with Koen De Geyter (Norman Baert), Jan Verbeek (Gunter Lamoot), and Ivan Van Dorpe (Sam Louwyck), all three are low class
scum with very fucked up private who need a drummer to complete the line up of there new band. Dries (Dries Van Hegen) is an established writer
living in the same town and the guys decide to ask Dries to join as the drummer. Dries accepts the position, however he has a handicap of his
own.... He can't play drums!

Dries has a completely different existence compared to the rest of the band. He lives in a swanky beachside penthouse with his hot ass missus
(who brings other chicks home to have threesomes with, lucky bastard!) whilst Koen is a sadistic cunt who likes to bash and rape women and lives
on his ceiling! Jan is a gay man who lives with his bald ugly fat mother and his father is out of his mind and lives in the bedroom, chained to his
bed. Plus Ivan is a half deaf father of one living in squalor with his crack whore missus.

From the instant Dries joins the band he is constantly plotting everyone against each other and stirring trouble. Confrontations also erupt between
The Feminists and their arch rival band, led by a man known as Big Dick (trust me he lives up to his name whether its the scene of Dick & Dries
walking around inside Dick's missus vaginal canal! Or when Big Dick ass rapes the roadie for The Feminists so hard he can’t walk!

The goal of The Feminists is to make it to a battle of the bands that's taking place in a few weeks, but can the band last long enough to make it to
the battle? And indeed will the members even live that long?

Ex Drummer is one fucked up little number! The story description is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to this film, as all the dialogue and
little side things happening is completely out of this world. I'm talking about conversations like a woman talking about the first time she was raped
by her father and how she loved the feeling of his big cock, Ivan's 2 year old daughter dying of a cocaine overdose and all sorts of other nasties.
This film really digs deep into the dirty, grimy side of human nature and absolutely shows no remorse for showing and saying what it does.

The filming side of things is also very bizarre. The opening credits sequence is shown fully in reverse and pretty much the whole way through the
movie I had to keep telling my self to stop smoking so much crack and then I remembered I don't smoke crack, but that's what this film is like... one
big acid trip!

Ex Drummer is definitely not for everyone. I found it a bit too art-house for my liking, and probably the only comparison that really springs to mind
is possibly Geoffrey Wright’s
Metal Skin.... or a This Is Spinal Tap on the most potent drugs known to mankind!

Three disabled punks are looking for a drummer. Dries, a well known writer, seems the right guy for the
job, were it not for the fact that his only handicap is that he can’t play the drums. He joins the group as
a perfect, but evil god coming down from his mountain to play with the populace. With the arrival of this
infiltrator personal disputes and family feuds start to jeopardise the band’s fragile future.

Dries will manipulate them till they are willing to drink each other’s blood and their only future is written
down in many punk lyrics: “No Future”.
