On a commercial flight from Los Angeles to Paris, Leo Bennett (Erick Avari) and a scientist Lucas Thorp (Dale Midkiff) are on the run from the CIA.
They quickly flee the country so the USA military doesn't get their hands on the top secret cargo which contains the body of a close deceased
colleague of theirs named Cara (Sarah Laine.) She has been injected with a genetically modified virus, which reanimates dead cells and brings the
host back to life. The crew and passengers are unaware what is exactly hidden deep below in the cargo bay of the plane, until Captain Banyon
(Raymond Barry) decides to fly straight through a thunderstorm, and the turbulence shakes loose the cargo straps and unleashes a flesh eating
zombie that awaits in the dark shadows. In the cockpit warning lights begin to flicker and they loose all communications, co-pilot Randy (Todo
Babcock) is companied by two men who work for Leo Bennett and  they decide to go into the cargo bay to see what is causing the problem.
Unfortunately the hatch is left open, and the zombie breaks loose, and begins to devour and infect passenger after passenger in the 747. The USA
military officers desperately want to use the virus as a biological warfare against their enemies and they become very concerned when the plane
does not respond to the calls. The officers don't want the infection to spread on American soil and decide to blast the plane out of the sky. As the
zombie hordes increase, the remaining passengers must take control of the plane before its too late.

Filmmaker Scott Thomas brings us a film that is similar to
Snakes on a Plane, but instead of the plane being infested with lethal snakes, it’s
infested with flesh eating zombies. I ain't too sure if Scott Thomas made this film to quickly cash in on the success of
Snakes on the Plane, but
between you and me, the guy made a fucking awesome film. I can't really say its the most goriest zombie film I have seen, but it does hold up in
the blood, splatter and headshot factor. With suh-weet special and visual effects, the zombies look like they just stepped off  the set of the Dawn
of the Dead remake.

The acting wasn't cheesy at all, it also had a pretty well written script and the story wasn't over the top, not like how
Snakes on the Plane was
written. There  were so many interesting and unique characters though-out this film, you have a undercover cop who looks like a tree hugging
drug fucked hippie, a FBI agent escorting a handcuff prisoner back to Paris, a sexy hot and horny flight attendance, unfaithful cheating teenagers
getting it on in the toilets, one screaming nun, a golf pro who looks like Tiger Woods and a handful of mad scientists while in the cargo bay you
have one hungry bad muthafucking zombie ready to chew the shit out of anyone who comes 6ft near her.

The special effects are over the top, the zombies are a little different in this film than other zombies films. They seem to know their way around the
plane, and are willing to do anything and go to great lengths to sink their teeth in their prey, even if it means crawling though air ducts, a hatch or
even breaking though the 1st floor of the plane and grabbing people by the ankles and dragging them down into the pit of the plane for a good
blood thirsty feast. Like I said before, the zombies look like they just stepped off set of the
Dawn of the Dead remake, but one thing that makes
them a lot different is their eyes, instead of having the white glazed eye effect, they have more of a piss yellow demonic eye effect, which I must
say did give the zombies more of a creepy attitude. Not much gore was involved in this film, a few throat munching scenes, a nun getting her knees
torn off, shit loads of head shots, and you do get to see bunch after bunch of zombies chowing down on many poor unlucky bastards.

I do recommend you give this film a fair go one day soon. If you are a big fan of
Snakes on the Plane and don't mind watching zombie films, then
you are definitely going to get a huge kick out of this film.
Flight of the Living Dead: Outbreak on a Plane does also have a comedy feel to the film
and feels like it mocks Snakes on the Plane from time to time, but the main thing is, its not be taken serious as a action pack zombie gore-fest type
of film.  Overall this movie is interesting and very enjoyable to sit down and watch with your friends, while knocking back a few beers and having a
good laugh.
