Walter Mancini (Franco Nero), an Italian journalist and his wife Eve are on a holiday together in America. Walter is a roaring piss head and likes to
violently fuck and be little his wife. Set up for the night in what looks like a hippy commune they secretly watch a young couple having it off before
Walter trips over a tent and breaks his wrist before cracking the shits real bad and tearing their caravan to shreds. Fast forward to the next day
and husband and wife are driving along when they see a hitch hiker and decided to pick him up. But this is no ordinary hitch hiker, its everyone
favourite psycho David Hess!! Things start off alright until Hess starts his usual tricks and asks Eve is she wants to suck his cock. From there the
trip gets ugly. After finding out Hess was involved in a bank robbery with a few other blokes (who he left stranded), and has $2 million in a brief
case it turns to mayhem! Cops are blown away, the other robbery guys turn up and a big shootout ensures, but i don't wanna give anymore away.
You will have to watch it yourself!
Part Duel, part Last House On The Left, Hitch-Hike is Definitely worth a view for all David Hess/ Last House... Fans. Directed by Italian Pasquale
Festa Campanile (who i have never fucking heard of, or any of his other movies for that matter!) the pace plods a bit in a few spots and the ending
could have been trimmed down a little bit too maybe, however there are plenty of twists and turns to make this a well thought out movie and keep
it interesting. The rapes are kinda tame in comparison with other exploitation films, but Eve is fairly easy on the eyes with a very nice rack!
The Anchor Bay R1 disc looks really nice, sound is OK (just Mono) and with a good featurette with all 3 actors interviewed and a theatrical trailer,
the extras are on par with most AB discs, the interviews are nice they just need to be longer damn it!
"Another David Hess Masterpiece."
