Island of the Bloody Plantation is directed by Kurt Raab & Peter Kern back in the 1980s. It is rough Women In Prison/Exploitation film that has no
plot at all to it really. Its basically about a bunch of Nazi like officers on a island that is run like a concentration camp, where they get the Philippine
women to slave all day by picking coconuts & skinning them & if they dont do so they get punished by getting whipped 50 times or burnt with a red
hot branding iron or if thats not bad they get either rape or gang raped by the Nazi officers or the native men who work with the Nazi officers. But
one officer that goes by the name Hartman (Udo Kier) ends up falling in love with one of the women slaves and try's to help her by escaping off the
island by a boat that delivers food & rations every month, but this ends up being a nightmare for Hartmans lover cause before she sets one foot
on the boat the 2nd captain try's to rape her, telling her she has to pay her dues on the boat by fucking all the crew. This doesn't go down to well
with Hartman so he shots the guy in the head, before ya know it the other Nazi officers & a women Nazi leader named Bloody Olga (Barbara
Valentin) who is like Ilsa of the camp and who also has the hots for Hartman realizes what he has done & also tried to help his little Philippine lover
try to escape the island. She is dragged back to the camp where she is tied up & whipped 50 times by her lover Hartman, while the rest of the
camp sits around & watches the blood pours & her screams & cry's telling him to stop. Then the Philippine women of the camp all come together &
plan a attack on certain Nazi officers which causes a up roar & a bloodbath.
Island of the Bloody Plantation is ya sleazefest 80's cheesy exploitation film which does hold up from time to time & also suck ass. I think the only
reason i watched this film to the very end was to see actually what happened to Hartman (Udo Kier) & his lover. I am a huge fan of some of Udo
Kier & if it wasn't for him well i would of turned it off after the 20 minute mark. I was hoping this film was going to be exploited to the max with sick
torture scenes, but all i was left with was a whipping scene, a spider bite & laying eggs in some fat officer, a gay Nazi officer feeling up young
Philippine men & 3 midgets slaves to the Nazi officers hahaha which cracked me up a bit the way they acted. No serious gore or special effects
involved so dont expect a blockbuster of a flick.
Those who love watching midgets & Philippine women topless would love this film. The rest of you will find it rather boring or plain, i dont really
recommend buying this on DVD straight away but maybe rent it before you buy it.
