Hitman Jack (Frank Prather) has just come home from a hard days work to find his home torn apart and his loved one kidnapped by a wheelchair
bound Mal Locke (Andrew Hewitt) a former hit from an old job he thought he had killed. Jack is greeted by two of Locke's kung fu master goons,
who are to take Jack to the Hitman’s palace, to offer him a deal that he cannot turn down as his family will be executed. Mal Locke is out for
revenge and wants Jack’s sidekick and lifetime partner Savitch (Cash Flagg, Jr.) to slowly be tortured to death for what they did to him. Jack agrees
to sell out his best friend for the sake of sparing his son’s life, after Locke just blindfold and executed his wife right in front of him. Though once
Savitch gets wind that Jack has set him up and given in and joined Locke’s evil army of henchmen, Savitch realizes he is the one who is the target,
while hundreds of white masked henchmen, kung fu masters and also his best friend Jack want him dead or alive, the evil villain Mal Locke sits back
a laughs. Savitch has no choice but to fight until death, and take as many of those with him, even his best friend…
Lethal Force writer and director Sir Alvin Ecarma, brings us a somewhat interesting but again not so new Enter the Dragon meets Pulp Fiction
type of film. It’s comedic humor that has plenty of blood, guts and gore with swords swinging, guns blazing, kick after kick, punch after punch
entertainment, but at certain times within the film it does tend to be slightly over the over the top with some of the fight and spaghetti westerns
scenes. While paying homage to a number of 70’s kung fu flicks, in the midst of Lethal Force is a very genuine, entertaining film that you can
enjoy and chuckle at.
Actor Cash Flagg, Jr. definitely stole the spotlight in Lethal Force and would have to be one of the most entertaining unknown actors I have ever
seen in a independent film ever. This guy can just about to do anything on and off set, and he also performs all his own stunts just like Jackie Chan
does in his films and kinda has features of a younger version of Brandon Lee (Bruce Lee's son), with roundhouse kick after another there is nothing
stopping this guy from hitting the big screen in due time.
What’s the gore level like you are probably wondering?. Well put it this way, you get to see blood squirting out of necks, chests, eyeballs, heads, a
scene that contains a drill and a head, plenty of head shots, many teeth being knocked out of mouths, knifes rammed into hands, a castration and
much much more..
So if you are a big fan of early 70's action kung fu films and have a sense of humor, you with no doubt love this film to death and enjoy every single
second of it. I highly urge you buy or rent, it doesn't matter just fucking check out Lethal Force at some point in your lifetime, so then with enough
money director Sir Alvin Ecarma can make a sequel to this film.
