Its 3:07am and a middle aged prostitute named Kelly (Lorraine Stanley) and a twelve year old girl named Joanne (Georgia Groome) come barging
into an old rundown public toilet. Kelly, who has a swollen black eye and busted lip, is trying to calm down young frantic Joanne from crying, while
trying to wipe away the make-up from her face and the smudge lipstick from her cheeks. Together they agree to get the hell out of London and
catch the next train to Brighton, where they can stay with Kelly’s friend Karen (Chole Bale) until things quiet down for them both. Kelly’s pimp Derek
(Johnny Harris) just got word that the last client, a rich successful man named Duncan Allen (Alexander Morton) who has a taste for younger
women has been stabbed to death in his home, while Duncan’s revengeful son Stuart (Sam Spruell) wants answers of what exactly happened that
night.

British filmmaker Paul Andrew Williams brings us a hard impacting realistic drama that will terrify any parent.
London to Brighton is about what
happens to runaway teenage girls when they are picked up and talked in to performing sexual favours for older men by pimps and prostitutes. It’s
very scary that shit like this is actually happening on the streets outside our homes, and these teens (male or female) are submitted into doing
such nasty things to strangers, just so they can have a roof over their head, food in their stomach or have a few extra dollars in their pocket. It’s
so easy now days to fall prey to a pimp, but once you fall victim to one of these bastards the only way out these poor souls can escape is death by
a heroin overdose. This problem occurs in every country, every city or town right throughout the world, prostitution is a fast growing vulgar
sickness, hell you can even call it a epidemic that any governments turns a blind eye to. But it will never change, when people who have the money
and want there sexual desires satisfied, this sickness will never go away. But for those who have a lust for young innocent children, it just makes
me sick to the guts that they could mental and psychically want to hurt a child like that. These people in my eyes need to put to death, or castrated
so they can’t hurt a child ever again.

The storyline to
London to Brighton has an impact that will do the following, scare you, open your eyes or anger you to the point you want to kick
your television. I honestly hate watching movies that have to do with child prostitution or paedophiles molesting children in any sort of way. Paul’s
London to Brighton will definitely get a hold of your emotions, and feelings and for an 85 minutes will take you on one hell of a emotional joyride
that no other movie has managed to do. There was times I felt that character Kelly was slowly becoming a big sis or even a mother towards young
Joanne at certain times, protecting her from everyone around her. As these 2 characters relationship slowly begins to grow, you begin to see
flashbacks of what happened that scary night, while the 2 girls are on the run from there pissed off pimp. I couldn’t find one fault with this movie, it
wasn’t sexually graphic at all which was good to see, but it’s the fast spacing plot that really draws you deeper into the movie.

Director Paul Andrew Williams couldn’t of picked a more  beautifully hand picked cast. I have never seen or heard of these actors before and simply
amazed by an outstanding performance that all the cast gave in this movie. Young actress Georgia Groome (who was 13yrs old at the time) gave a
very convincing performance with her character, which looked genuinely raw and very innocent. Actress Lorraine Stanley also did a remarkable job
with her character; her acting skills especially gave the film great realism. And actor Sam Spruell character did come across a little too gangster for
me, but Spruell definitely knew what he was doing and turned it around towards the very end of the movie. If it wasn’t for Paul Andrew Williams

London to Brighton
, all the cast listed in this film will probably never been known outside of England, hopefully this won’t be the case in the future
for them all.

Paul Andrew Williams’
London to Brighton is a breathtaking unique thriller that has more of an impact than Hard Candy, its surprisingly uplifting,
and gripping storyline that you hope it will never stop, but you’ll find yourself sinking further and further into your couch as each minute pass. I
highly recommend this film to everyone reading this review; it’s just another fantastic movie to come out of England, which I believe you’ll enjoy
watching.
