After living through a tragic event, Morrigan, a young artist, tries coping with a life that is now very
different from the one she once loved dearly. But as she sits alone at night in her city loft searching for
the warm colors that no longer grace her canvas, three men watch from the dark streets below, all with
their own ulterior motives, including bitter hatred and vengeance. A brutal attack will soon be
underway; an attack that will put Morrigan in touch with her past and in the process, she will find what
she was searching for, a perfect warm color . . . a "Perfect Red".

Our heroine Morrigan is an artist, who rather unwisely decides to stay in one night, when asked to go on a night out with the girls, and then she
gets a home invasion by a bunch of real arse-holes.

But who are the arseholes, and who is the painter? Therein lies the writer’s and the director’s surprise, and one I didn’t see coming, and one I won’
t spoil for you. Perfect Red is a classy and clever piece of work, and one I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is definitely worth checking out, and I’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for more of this writer’s and this director’s work. I’m a great lover of
short horror, and this was 13 minutes of well-spent viewing; better than most of the bloated excesses of the Masters of Horror series. Top shelf
stuff.
