Well starting from today the countdown to one of the most viewed trailers on the
Internet is just about to open in cinema's throughout Australia. The director who
bought us Terminator (1984), Aliens (1886) and not to forgot that girlie flick which
most of us guys hated watching - Titanic (1997), James Cameron is back with another
epic film called Avatar.
The story is about an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien
planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he
finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and
that of the indigenous people.
Starring Australia's very own Sam Worthington who you all would recognize from
Terminator Salvation (2009) or that unforgettable killer-croc flick Rogue (2007), is set
to once again WOW the audience with a unbelievable performance in Avatar. Not to
mention actress Sigourney Weaver who has worked with Cameron in the past on
Aliens, will also be appearing in this film. Along her side is also Michelle Rodriguez
(Resident Evil, The Fast and the Furious), Giovanni Ribisi (Gone in Sixty Seconds, Flight
of the Phoenix), Joel Moore (Hatchet, The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning) and Zoe
Saldana (Star Trek, Blackout) just to name a few... who are all going to blow away all
sci-fi and film geeks nationwide.
