The Stepfather remake is probably one film that didn't interest me this year. Due to the fact that the film was going to be released with a PG rating in the US, this threw me right off wanting to go watch it. But according to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment they have just announced today the DVD details on this suspense/thriller, which mind you, has managed to received a MA15+ rating. Fingers cross the DVD release will contain more graphic scenes than the tame down cinema release.

But when Michael and his girlfriend (Amber Heard, Zombieland) start delving into David’s past, they begin to discover a dark and dangerous side to Michael’s new “daddy” in this riveting, chilling thriller.
